Marilyn Childs Duncan is a talented Scottish singer and professional vocalist known for her impressive versatility and engaging performances. Born in Glasgow and raised in places like Elgin and Kuwait, she began singing at a young age and quickly made a name for herself in the music industry.

At just 14 years old, Marilyn signed her first recording contract and later became the lead singer of an alternative rock band in Glasgow. By 18, she had moved to London and joined a five-piece band, performing internationally in venues ranging from resorts to prestigious events. Marilyn has shared the stage with notable figures, including Paul McCartney and Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal, showcasing her talent across Europe, the UK, and even in locations like Orlando and Japan.

Now a successful solo performer, Marilyn continues to captivate audiences with her dynamic voice and stage presence. As she prepares for this year's festival, fans can expect an unforgettable experience filled with a blend of classic and contemporary hits. 

Oran Dubh are an energetic Scottish band known for their infectious blend of traditional Celtic sounds with modern rock influences. Formed in 2016, the band consists of skilled musicians who share a deep passion for celebrating Scotland’s rich musical heritage.

With their dynamic performances and engaging stage presence, Oran Dubh has earned a devoted following both locally and beyond. Their repertoire features a mix of original songs and reinvented folk classics, all infused with lively rhythms and heartfelt melodies. Their debut album, released in 2019, highlighted their unique sound and storytelling prowess, resonating with fans of all ages.

Having played at numerous festivals and events across Scotland, Oran Dubh is renowned for their ability to get crowds on their feet. iODYNES are an Anthemic Alt Rock band from the Scottish Highlands, taking influences from the likes of Biffy Clyro and Foo Fighters to create a melodic, dark get up and move vibe, approaching issues of Mental Health, love and loss and self-worth while keeping tunes catchy enough to catch you off guard.

Liam Tedcastle is a Scottish Singer/Songwriter known for his heartfelt lyrics and soulful delivery. With over 15 years of live performance under his belt - both fronting bands and as a solo artist.
"I feel that music gives you an escape from the daily struggles, and people can relate to music and songs on a personal level. As someone who suffers from poor mental health, I know how much music has helped me over the years, both playing and listening. Most of all, I think music can be used as a voice to help."

Thousand Mile Stare is an electrifying band hailing from Inverness, bringing a fresh energy to the rock music landscape. Drawing inspiration from iconic acts like AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Foo Fighters, Rush, and Royal Blood, their sound is a dynamic fusion of hard-hitting riffs and powerful melodies.

The band has made a mark in local venues, having played at Inverness' Tooth & Claw and Upstairs, as well as Nairn's Bandstand. They even showcased their musicianship at Croy Primary School's Summer Fete, demonstrating their versatility and commitment to connecting with diverse audiences.

In 2025, they had the honour of supporting the renowned band Bad Actress during their final show of the year, an achievement that highlights their growing reputation in the rock community. This year, Thousand Mile Stare is set to take the stage at Stramash Festival in Stornoway and Rocktober at Nairn's Bandstand, among other highly anticipated gigs.

The Aberdeen-based artist, Ruari McGrath, is influenced by singer-songwriters such as Bob Dylan, Eddie Vedder, John Cale, and rock bands including The Beatles, The Byrds and R.E.M. In 2024, Ruari McGrath released his debut album "If I Knew Your Name". A stripped-back acoustic record, "If I Knew Your Name" is a compelling listen, full of lush melodic textures and abstract imagery.
Ruari is currently working on his second album and continuing to perform in his native Aberdeen and beyond, with recent performances supporting top Scottish artists such as Brodie Barclay and RURA.
